Onikepe Owolabi

Onikepe Owolabi is the Vice President for International Research at the Guttmacher Institute, where she leads the global research team to design and implement high quality social science research on sexual reproductive health and rights to drive evidence informed policies and programs in partnership with colleagues in multiple countries around the world. Over the last three years, she was a director at IntraHealth International, and Vital strategies, where she oversaw research on different domains of SRH, managed large scale maternal health, family planning and nutrition programs within the health system, and advised senior decision makers in government. Onikepe obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Master of Science from University of Oxford, and a Doctorate in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
